Carrot Halwa Dessert
Ingredients
- 600g (1 ¼ lbs) Carrot
- 750ml (1 ¼ pints) Fresh Milk
- 150g (5oz) Sugar
- 75g (3oz) Ghee
- pinch of Ground Green Cardamom
- 50g (2oz) East End Almonds (sliced)
- 50g (2oz) East End Pistachio (sliced)
- 50g (2oz) East End Cashew Nuts (chopped)
- 25g (1oz) East End Green Sultanas
Method
Grate the carrots, and place them in a saucepan with the milk.
Simmer over a moderate heat until the milk has evaporated.
Add the sugar to the mixture and stir until dissolved.
