Moong Dall Crumpets

Ingredients

  • ½ cup East End Yellow Moong Dall – soaked for 5-6 hours
  • 1 onion grated
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespoon East End cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon East End Coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup sweetcorn
  • ½ cup chopped East End coriander

Method

Grind moong dall in food processor. Add egg. Remove from food processor. Add rest of the ingredients.

Heat little oil at a time and cook the crumpets on both sides. Serve hot with East End Sauces or East End Chutneys.
